Longtime (lifelong!) anarchist Audrey Goodfriend passed away.

about the news of her death: 

" I feel extra fortunate that I got to see and chat with Audrey nearly every week for nearly a year in the anarchist reading group at the Long Haul in Berkeley. She had a feisty-wonderful warmth about her and nearly always-charming stories, like when she told us that it wasn't until her teenage years that she discovered not everyone was an anarchist; she'd grown up in an insular radical Yiddish community/housing coop in New York in the 1920s-30s, and while she may have been stretching the point, it still made for a great tale".
