بلغارستانی ها نیز بلند شدند
21 June 2013
"We're not paid, we hate you for free!" (Bulgarian protestors' against their government)
Bulgaria's President pronounced his support for the protestors who have been on the street for a week now, marching against corruption and a lack of transparency. Thousands took to the streets today, for the seventh day in a row. So far they achieved the resignation of the recently appointed security-chief, received an apology from Prime Minister Oreharski, and now gained the support of the president; but demands for the resignation of the government have not been met. Protests are now increasingly turning towards the chairman of the Bulgarian Socialist Party, Sergei Stanishev, who is perceived as an oligarch and is being accused of working solely in the interests of the rich elite.
Protestors call for a massive rally tomorrow to be held in front of the National Palace of Culture where the congress of the Party of European Socialists will be held.
