Powerful 8-Minute YouTube Video from Madrid Protests Captures Yesterday’s Reality

Yesterday in Madrid , violent clashes between protesters and Spanish police were chronicled all over social media and the mainstream media over austerity measures that Spain is considering. While images keep getting shared (such as the one below), the most powerful video we have seen is on YouTube.

The video is raw and real, it shows how police action is bordering on militarism. Kudos to @juanramajete for shooting the video.

We have posted other YouTube videos from the protests (Al Jazeera and RT), but the best one we have seen so far has been the one by @juanramajete. Those 8 minutes present a very real-time and up-close feeling to what happened yesterday.
