Cynthia McKinney was recently interviewed on Global Research TV concerning AFRICOM's involvement in destroying Libya and efforts to re-colonize Africa itself.  The interview is approximately 15 minutes long.

Please also note that when the African-American President (of the Multinational Corporation)Obama launched his own "Shock and Awe" attack on the sovereign African country Libya on 19 March 2011, Ms. McKinney whole-heartedly endorsed the Central Florida chapter of Veterans For Peace resolution calling for the Impeachment of President Obama for the blatant act of aggression on Libya as well as the multitude of other war crimes committed under his command and authority since taking office on 20 January 2009.

The general membership of Veterans For Peace(VFP) finally after 2 1/2 years ... and who knows how many lives taken or otherwise destroyed later ... passed on 6 August 2011 at the VFP National Convention the resolution 2011-7 to apply the same standard of calling for impeachment of the Democrat Obama as was applied so vigorously by VFP's national leadership to the Republican Bush for the same daggone wars of aggression, illegal occupations, rendition, torture, and other war crimes.  Yet to this very day the national leadership of Veterans For Peace continues to keep that fact a secret, let alone enforce the impeachment resolution 2011-7 passed at the 2011 national convention by publicly calling for the impeachment of Democrat President Obama.

The question must be asked of VFP's national leadership is why even after the blatant act of aggression on Libya, the outrageous increase in Drone-Bomber killing of people anywhere in the world as long as Obama considers them suspected "bad guys", the actual assassination of American citizens under Obama's orders, and now the ability to round up American citizens on American soil and detain them indefinitely without charge simply because the President says so ... why is it that the national leadership of Veterans For Peace continues to stay silent in regards to its resolution 2011-7 to impeach Obama passed by the general membership at the 2011 VFP National Convention ?

Shortly after Obama's "Shock and Awe" bombing of Libya on 19 March 2011, I spoke on air with Joyce Riley of the nationally syndicated radio program The Power Hour about the blatant act of aggression on Libya under the orders of Obama, how AFRICOM would not have been set up if the U.S. wasn't going to eventually invade Afrrica, and the continued double-standard by Veterans For Peace in publicly calling for impeachment for such war crimes ... whereas a Republican war criminal president warrants a call for impeachment and a Democrat war criminal president does not.  The interview is approximately 5 minutes long.

I encourage all Veterans For Peace to go back and re-read our Statement of Purpose and then ask ourselves how can we still not be publicly calling for the Impeachment of this Democrat war criminal President Obama.  For crying out loud, what are we about ?  War Crimes are War Crimes, Dammit !  Prosecute Bush, Impeach Obama !!!
