بولتن ماهانه اش چنین نوشت: 

Dr. Marc Faber, the investment guru, concluded his monthly bulletin with the following comments: Dr. Marc Faber tells it how it is " دولت فدرال داره 600 دلار-بعنوان  کمک هزینه -واسه هر نفر میفرسته. اگر ما این پول رو در وال- مارت خرج کنیم, پول میره به چین.اگر خرج بنزین کنیم میره به کشورهای عربی . اگر کامپیوتر بخریم, میره هند .اگر میوه و سبزی بخریم میره مکزیک , هندوراس و گواتمالا. اگر باهاش ماشین خوب کنیم میره ژاپن و آلمان . اگر اشغال بی مصرف بخریم پولش میره تایوان. خلاصه کنم, هیچکدومش به اقتصادآمریکا کمک نمیکنه .   تنها راهی که ما میتونیم این پول رو اینجا تو آمریکا نگه داریم اینه که خرج فاحشه و آبجو بکنیم. چرا که اینها تنها کالاهائی هستند که هنوز اینجا تولید میکنیم .  ترجمه از پیمان پایدار "The federal government is sending each of us a $600 rebate. If we spend that money at Wal-Mart, the money goes to China . If we spend it on gasoline it goes to the Arabs. If we buy a computer, it will go to India . If we purchase fruits and vegetables it will go to Mexico , Honduras and Guatemala . If we purchase a good car, it will go to Germany and Japan . If we purchase useless crap, it will go to Taiwan . In short, none of it will help the American economy. The only way to keep that money here at home is to spend it on prostitutes and beer, since these are the only products still produced in the USA."
