Mozilla, the maker of Firefox, has unveiled a new add-on for the popular web browser that gives web users an instant view of which companies are 'watching' them as they browse.
The move comes the same week that Google pushed ahead with its controversial new privacy policy, built to provide even more data for Google's $28 billion advertising business - despite concerns that the massive harvesting of private data might be illegal in many countries.

NHS fairness tsar urged to quit by doctors over 'conflict of interest' following £799,000 payment for U.S. private health giant
The head of the NHS regulator that is meant to ensure fairness when private-sector firms bid for public contracts is also the chairman of a huge company whose Health Service business is worth £80 million a year – and set to increase massively.
As the chairman of the NHS Co-operation and Competition Panel (CCP), Lord Carter of Coles is paid £57,000 for two days’ work each week. But his other role, as chairman of the UK branch of the American healthcare firm McKesson, is more generously rewarded. Last year it paid him £799,000.

Mom Goes to Jail For Protecting Daughter From TSA
NewYorkDailyNews.com reports that Abbott was arrested at Nashville airport when she “shouted and swore” at TSA agents, telling them she wouldn’t allow her young daughter to have her “crotch grabbed”.
Abbott’s daughter was singled-out for a pat-down after Abbott refused to go through the airports body scanners.
According to The Tennessean, security officer Sabrina Birge told police that Abbott said “in a very stern voice with quite a bit of attitude” that Abbott and her young daughter would not go through the Rapiscan X-ray machine. The officer tried telling Abbott that the X-ray was “safer than her cell phone” but Abbott responded, “I still don’t want someone to see our bodies naked.”
